History: Long ago, there was a young man by the name of Misha
who fell hard for someone he shouldn't have. And it cost him
his life. The man whom he'd sought to make his, betrayed him. His lover, Everett Siege, forced him to drink his blood after he'd nearly drained all the blood from Misha. And turned him into one of the living dead. Misha was in so much pain during his transition, but his lover left him to suffer on his own. Misha blacked out after hours of excruciating agony. When he woke, he was completely alone, and blood stained the bedsheets. He stood, and then immediately sat back down as he passed the window; the sunlight had burned him. He fell into great despair. He could not go outside in the sunlight anymore. What would become of him now? What would he do? Misha lay in his bed for what felt like hours, until he looked over at his dresser. A note was left as well as a gold ring. Misha sat up and moved to take the letter from the dresser and the ring. He was struck with great sorrow as he read, "This ring will help you to walk amongst the living." - Everett.
His lover had known that Misha would be distressed when he found out he could not walk in sunlight. Misha wondered why Everett had turned him. He had trusted him.
Misha put the ring on, and left his home. The sunlight bothered him a bit, but he was thankful he could walk about freely.
Misha traveled the land, watching as things changed with time. He had been turned when he was 24; February 23rd, 1832. Even in 2015, Misha was never able to find Everett and so his questions for him remained unanswered. It did not bother him; he had learned to accept what happened to him, but he never trusted anyone again.
Not after his life had been taken from him.
